The story follows Mr Kola Adeyemi, a quiet bookshop owner whose past as a dealer in stolen secrets returns through a mysterious thief called the Silent Hand. Objects of deep meaning vanish across the city, each theft exposing hidden guilt. A young boy is framed, a private investigator uncovers the truth, and Mr Kola learns the thief is a man he once betrayed. As the thefts escalate, it becomes clear nothing material is being stolen anymore. Peace, safety, and innocence are the true targets. Forced to confront his sins publicly, Mr Kola realizes redemption demands confession and courage to survive.
