The Empty Grave follows Clara Hensley, whose mother’s grave is found disturbed years after her supposed death. Haunted by strange calls and cryptic clues, Clara uncovers that her mother was part of a secret experiment at the Hollow Creek Institute an attempt to preserve human consciousness after death. When Clara discovers her mother still alive, imprisoned by the same scientists, she must choose between rescue and release. In a final act of love, Clara destroys the Institute, freeing the trapped souls. Her mother’s grave remains empty, not in horror, but in peace the sign of a spirit finally set free.
