In the fog-covered town of Ashford, Jonah and Emily prepare for a final confrontation with the spreading shadows that have been causing disappearances. At the old mill, they face a powerful faceless figure controlling the darkness. Using chalk patterns and quick thinking, they create traps that limit the shadows’ movement. Despite fear and injuries, they outmaneuver the entity and contain it within a complex grid. By dawn, the town begins to recover. Though the darkness isn’t completely gone, Jonah and Emily now understand its limits and vow to remain vigilant, ready to protect Ashford if it returns.
