East London, 1997. Sarah works behind the bar at the Brewery Tap, where local faces, old friendships, and everyday routines make life feel safe and predictable. But when three people are murdered and the police begin to trace a connection back through Castle Green Secondary, the ordinary suddenly looks dangerous.
As Sarah’s engagement to Steve should be the happiest time of her life, she starts to notice small things that do not quite add up in Steve, in his best mate Reggie, and in the stories people tell about the past. What begins as a close-knit pub drama slowly turns into a darker mystery about loyalty, buried resentment, and the price of keeping quiet.
