Thanks for Bringing Me Back To The Marine Corps
A World War II Vet's Birthday PartyBy Tom Kane, Kenny Polcari (Forward)
Length16m
About this audiobook
This is a love story. Not in the biblical sense, but rather the mysterious bond that formed between two old veteran Marines.
Bob, a 97-year-old Marine veteran, initially reluctant to share his wartime experiences, eventually opened up about his service in the Pacific during World War II. Tom organized a Marine Corps Birthday party in November 2021, inviting active duty Marines, which rekindled Bob's connection to his Marine Corps past.
