obscured by time and the grandeur of heroic exploits?
In this retelling, I chose to explore the depth of the relationship between Perseus and Medusa, a friendship born in the innocent days of youth, flourishing in the shared dreams and laughter of two kindred spirits. This story was never meant to be just another hero's journey marked by battles and conquests. Instead, it aimed to uncover the profound emotional landscape of Perseus, a character haunted by the fate of the one he loved—not a monster, but a woman wronged by gods and fate, a woman he could not save until it was too late.
