In the future work is done by robots and humans spend most of their time in virtual reality. Ben Kendrick is the disgraced inventor of a ubiquitous virtual reality device, the Neuropod. When 3 young women are found dead using the revolutionary virtual reality device federal agent Sarah Walters seeks out Ben to help with the investigation. This is a chance for Ben not only to help with the case but also to redeem himself. Unfortunately things don’t go as planned and Ben soon finds himself in dire straits.
