A troubled teenage girl, Emery, finds herself thrust into a group home where she meets another resident and quickly forms a solid friendship. Meanwhile, she forms a toxic relationship with a man who would ultimately be her downfall. Running from the group home with her friend, she finds herself pregnant and alone when her friend becomes incarcerated. Back home, she gives birth to a baby girl. Her toxic ex-boyfriend emerges only to wreak havoc once again, ultimately causing the death of her baby girl. Emery finds herself accused of setting up a heinous crime.
