In the decaying industrial slums of the Dials, a scavenger nicknamed Mouse survives by trading scrap for protein paste. When a young boy discovers a mysterious, high-tech power cell, they are thrust into a high-stakes escape from corporate Enforcers.
The journey leads them through claustrophobic ventilation shafts and across a toxic sea to an abandoned oil rig. There, they uncover a pristine relic of the old world: a transmission relay that offers a map to a clean future. To save the signal and the boy, Mouse must transition from a silent scavenger to a defiant protector, eventually launching into the unknown to find a world that isn't broken.
