Thomas Weller, haunted by the loss of his wife and daughter, finds himself trapped in an eerie place called Last Town, where silence rules at night and the forest fog speaks in the voices of loved ones. As he uncovers its dark secret with a girl named Mara, they awaken the presence that controls the town by ringing a cursed bell. Thomas realizes the fog feeds on grief and demands sacrifice. Choosing to face it, he walks to the edge and resists its pull, breaking the curse. The fog vanishes, the town empties, and Mara finally walks free into the real world.
