The surface of the world is covered in a toxic, corrosive mist called The Brine. Humanity survives only by living on the backs of colossal, wandering behemoths called Leviathans. These beasts are miles high, and entire cities are built into their shells and fur.
But Leviathans are dying out. When a Leviathan dies, its city falls into the Brine.
