Caleb resents having to go to bed earlier than everyone else, and suspects that they’re all doing fun things without him. He stays up late, expecting to catch them in the act as they are having cake, dancing, and playing with his toys, only to discover that the life of a grownup is not nearly as exciting as he imagined it to be.
