The story takes place in Port Elkhorn, a small river city in western Pennsylvania. Once a thriving steel and freight town, it now survives on a distribution warehouse, a regional hospital, and a patchwork of family owned shops. The Allegheny River curves along its eastern edge, wide and deceptively calm. The town is home to families who have lived there for generations as well as immigrants from Nigeria, Mexico, India, Poland, and South Korea who arrived over the last twenty years seeking steadier ground. Everyone knows everyone, or at least thinks they do.
As an author passionate about crafting stories that explore the human experience and the transformative power of imagination, I write stories that entertain, inspire, and spark reflection. Through my pen, I aim to connect with people and readers on a much deeper level. Follow me on this journey, and let us create memories together through vivid imagination.View all by Teresa Wallen
