Battle Of Dien Bien Phu, 1954, In The Indochina War

About this audiobook
The Battle of Dien Bien Phu, in the Indochina War, took place between French Union troops and Viet Minh forces between March 13 and May 7, 1954. Originally, Dien Bien Phu was to be a base for mobile units capable of deploying throughout the Lai Chau district with American M24 Chaffee light tanks from the Northwest Operational Group. In the simulation through the Legion Wargames game Dien Bien Phu, for the Vietnamese player I will apply the hypothesis of an operational strategy that prioritizes the teachings bequeathed by military engineer Vauban (1633 to 1707). For the French player I will apply two hypotheses, adapting them to the context, one at the strategic level, namely, the green light for the North American Operation Vulture; and one in the field of tactics, those practiced by the Americans in the Battle of Khe Sanh, in 1968, in the Vietnam War.
